iGaging Center/Bevel Rule
This beefy rule combines several really handy scales into a
single stout package. One side features
a +/-6" centering rule that's perfect for locating the middle of boards up to
12" wide plus a conventional 12" scale.
On the flip side, there's a 0 to 50 degree bevel scales that
works great for accurately setting angles on a sliding T-bevel, or in some
cases, marking lines directly onto your work from the edge a board.
There's also a 3" scale printed up the end of the rule,
which is ideal for comfortably setting the heights of router bits and table saw
dado sets. It's a big improvement over
standing a rule on end or trying to hold a tape measure upright and in position
while you make adjustments to the machine.
This is a much nicer rule than you'd expect for
the reasonable price. It's nicely
finished with clean edges and crisp markings over a matte satin finish. Constructed from heavy 0.050"-thick steel,
this rule measures 12-1/2" x 3" overall.
