Woodpeckers 12" x 8" Precision Woodworking Square
Better alignment and layout tools help you build better furniture. If you're looking for a square that's bigger than most and designed specifically for woodworking, but you're not excited by stamped sheet metal framing squares, the Woodpeckers 12" Precision Square is a great solution.
The blade and handle are machined on Woodpeckers' own CNC mills from one piece of solid aircraft aluminum for outstanding accuracy. The handle's cheeks are aligned and securely held in position with a pair of chrome hardened steel pins. The result is a large square that's accurate to better than 0.001" overall, and Woodpeckers guarantees it to stay that way for as long as you own it.
There's a splinter clearance machined into the inside corner for consistent results when checking the ends of boards, and a lip on the inside of the handle provide better stability than an engineer's square when the blade is laid across the face of a board.
Each square includes a custom fitted, wall mountable block for protection and easy access.
