The Ultra Lite offers the fence
positioning accuracy, repeatability, and micro-adjustability of the premium LS
fence systems in a kit that's within the budget of nearly every woodworker. The compact, 12.5"-travel positioner is also
a great fit for smaller workspaces or for use at your band saw or drill press
in addition to everyday use at your router table.
With the included 22" Joinery
Fence, aluminum Right Angle Fixture, and sliding fence stop, this system is able
take you from basic joinery like flawless rabbets, friction-fit dadoes, and
repetitive slotting jobs to box joints, half-blind dovetails, sliding
dovetails, and more. The T-slot in the
fence also makes it easy to add a shop-made sub fence for using larger router
bits, allowing the Ultra Lite system to improve the accuracy of everything you
do at your router table.
A 3/8" box joint template and
1/2" dovetail template are included, and you can add the optional Master Reference
Guide
to access the full library of joinery templates including INCRA's exclusive
Double Dovetail joints.
Patented Accuracy
As with all INCRA systems, the
Ultra Lite is a mechanical, incremental fence positioner that allows even
novice woodworkers to make fence setups that are ten times more precise and
repeatable than what's possible working with a ruler or tape measure.
Each time the Ultra Lite is
locked, the hundreds of teeth on the patented incremental racks cause the fence
position to instantly "center up" on the closest 1/32" with an accuracy of
+/-0.002" and perfect repeatability. The
integrated micro-adjust moves the fence anywhere between 1/32" positions with
0.001" resolution adjusting the widths of grooves, etc. Because it's a mechanical positioner, it's
not affected by variables such as tired eyes or poor shop lighting, making all
of your router table work far more consistent from day to day.
