The main body has T-slots everywhere, making the handle, legs, and other components adjustable to the ideal configuration for different types of cuts on lumber of various sizes. It's a huge improvement over push blocks or push sticks that are one-size-fits-all-operations.There are plenty of places to attach both Micro Jig and user-made accessories, so the possibilities are endless.

Compared to the Basic GRR-Ripper, the GR-200 Advanced System features an enlarged footprint and more possible configurations by adding an adjustable spacer on one side and a large stabilizing pad on the other. The underside of the adjustable spacer increases the total amount of sticky rubber by about 50% over the basic model.

The GRR-Ripper's unique features include:

Super-tacky rubber gives you greater control with less effort and pressure.

Rather than having a simple flat underside, the GRR-Ripper has three rubber-coated legs with adjustable space in between. When working on a table saw with narrow lumber, the blade passes through the space between the legs, giving you full control of both the part you're saving and the offcut to help prevent kickback.

The narrow legs allow cutting strips as narrow as 1/4" between the fence and blade.

The body of the GRR-Ripper serves as a physical barrier between the cutter and both of your hands at all times.

The adjustable balance support on one side eliminates a conventional push block's tendency to tip off the side of narrow lumber.

A broad range of Micro Jig accessories allows virtually unlimited configurations to maximize safety for every routing, sawing, or jointing operation.

Get two GRR-Rippers and use them hand-over-hand for long boards, and don't forget to add a Micro Jig Splitter to your saw for additional kickback protection!

Micro Jig GRR-Ripper Handle Bridge

Here's a handy accessory for MJGR-100 and MJGR-200 GRR-Ripper models. It's a pair of arched pieces that install between the handle and the main body to help distribute downward pressure across the entire width of the body. Rather than frequently repositioning the handle for different GRR-Ripper configurations, the Handle Bridge allows excellent control from a single handle position. The handle can easily be skewed for comfort, as well.

As a bonus, the Handle Bridge includes a template and mounting hardware for attaching a trailing hook. Having the hook driving the trailing edge of the board through the cut lets you focus more making the cut itself

GRR-Ripper Instructional DVD
GRR-Ripper Instructional DVD

This is the same DVD that's included with new GRR-Ripper units, but if you already have a Basic or Advanced GRR-Ripper system, this video is guaranteed to help you get the most from from this versatile workshop aid. The DVD has 36 chapters, and there's so much information, we're not sure exactly how long it really is. This is an $11 must-have item, not because the system is complicated, but because it has benefits in such a broad range of applications.

Everything is covered: the initial assembly, how to make all of the available adjustments and the benefits if each, and it goes on to illustrate the GRR-Ripper's use in more than 30 cutting applications on the table saw, router table, jointer, and band saw. There's also some coverage of how to use the GRR-Ripper to make cuts that can't be done safely any other way.
